Question by : Magic the gathering players help?
in my counter deck, i have multiple cards like lighnting bolt and fireball. i’ve had my eyes on a card called fire servant, its ability is when ever i play a sorcery or instant card that deals damage to a creature and/or opponent it does double the damage. now my question is, if i were to have two of these on the field, would it do triple the damage, would i double the damage twice, or would i just only double it once?? either way im thinking of putting four of these in my deck so i can have multiple parts of the game where i do double or whatever the amount of damage.

From the rulings on Fire Servant:
If you control more than one Fire Servant, the effects are cumulative. Two such effects will cause damage from red instant or sorcery spells you control to be multiplied by four; three such effects will cause damage from red instant or sorcery spells you control to be multiplied by eight.
